I am filled with immense pride and gratitude as I pen down this message to all of you as the President of CMR. Our club, beyond being a haven for hobbyists, stands as a beacon for ad¬vancing technology and modern equipment in the world of model railroading. It is our prime role and responsibility to bring this niche passion closer to the broader society.
In everything we undertake, we hold the opinions and insights of the wider community in high regard. Through educational initiatives, equipment exchanges, and open invitations, we aim to immerse them in the wonders of model railway activities and welcome them into our esteemed organization.
I am thrilled to share that our diligent members are actively paving the way for a model railway exhibition. As we finalize other administrative intricacies, rest assured, this exhibition remains one of our topmost priorities and ambitions.
My heartfelt thanks go out to every single member for their unwavering dedication and relent¬less efforts in shaping CMR into the club it is today. Our shared vision is to ignite and nurture this hobby among our fellow Sri Lankans, and together, I am confident we will achieve this and more.

Yes! You can join our model railroad volunteer program. How?
Volunteers can join for all our Volunteer program (Join – Button) membership to participate exhibition and workshops and etc. or Else they can be a Volunteers to help CMR member layouts and be an apart of the Member layout support team.
What you get?
Volunteer program will have free Club education tours, (Limited), Access to club workshops, (Limited), Hands on model railroads, be a part of the Exhibition staff also get free volunteer membership card for the events.
Yes we reward you. For each CMR exhibitions and workshops CMR will award a recognition certificate, trophy and Cash price. Yes you got it. So why not be an apart of the Volunteer membership.
Is this Volunteers program for free?
Yes for Exhibitors only. Any exhibitor who will be participate will be FREE of charge for the event. But will not applies to Volunteers help task force. Volunteers are joining to help exhibition layouts are compulsory to pay Rs. 2,500 per each exhibition. Participation fee can be credited to CMR club Bank accounts.
Please note that any transactions done to personal accounts will be disqualified and CMR will not take any responsibility)

Complete the following fields marked with a red asterisk * and insert your passport size photograph. That’s it. You are done. Send your forms to our corresponded email. Our member will contact you for the event.
